Hadassah installs new board

The Greater New Orleans Chapter of Hadassah installed a new slate of candidates at a brunch on Sunday, January 15, held at the home of past president Ilana Reisin.

The chapter paid tribute to Briann Shear, who had served as president for the past three years.

Harriet Hillson will assume the duties of president. Arlene Hines and Ilana Reisin, will share the vice president for advocacy position. Fran Simon takes over again as vice president for marketing and communications. Marcela Tota and Claudia Shabetai will jointly share the vice president post for education.

Former Hadassah president Charisse Sands is vice president for membership. Betty Moore continues as treasurer, whil Daine Schleifstein will be recording secretary. Correspong secretary will be Angela Gordon. Sisters Lazelle and Becky Alexander are in charge of records.

Also joining the festivities at the installation was Southern Region president Susan Smolinksy.
