The annual Jewish Children’s Regional Service (JCRS) “Hanukkah Wrap-a-Thon” will be held this Sunday, Oct. 23 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Goldring-Woldenberg Jewish Community Campus, 3747 West Esplanade N. in Metairie.

Volunteers are need to wrap hundreds of gift packages that will be donated to worthy Jewish youth in families across the eight-state region served by the JCRS.

In many cases, the gifts received by the children are the only ones they will receive during the Chanukah celebration.

All wrapping materials will be provided by JCRS and awards will be presented to the best wrappers. In addition, students seeking community service hours will have them certified on site.
