Sarah Waxman, the CEO OF At the Well, an online community space for Jewish spiritual connections, will be the featured speaker at a special Rosh Chodesh Kislev event being jointly sponsored by the Jewish Foundation of Louisiana (JEF), the Greater New Orleans Section of the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) and the Greater New Orleans Chapter of Hadassah  on Thursday, November 20 from 1130 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The event, wich includes lunch,  is intended to celebrate the new moon and with it the new month of Kislev. Registration is required, and the cost is $36 per person. 

Waxman is a renowned speaker with experience in sociology and the practice of holistic medicine. A former national champion athlete, she is a certified yoga instructor specializing in mindfulness. , combined with the skills acquired as a national champion athlete and certified instructor in yoga and mindfulness.

She founded and developed At the Well as an online communal space to connect with others and to weave Jewish faith and practice into it. She is an active leader in her own Jewish community in Washington, D.C.
