Peter Gesund, father of newcomer, dies in Las Vegas

Rabbi Ethan Linden of Shir Chadash Conservative Congregation has announced with sadness the sudden passing of Dr. Peter Gesund, the father of newcomer Keren Gesund and a member of his synagogue. Dr. Gesund, an anesthesiologist died in Las Vegas, NV and his funeral service was held at King David Chapel there. Keren Gesund, an attorney at Sessions Fishman law firm, was recently engaged to Stanford graduate computer sciences student Alan Newman, the son of Shir Chadash members Dale and Carol Newman, who moved to New Orleans from Cleveland when their son was just a young boy.
