Retired businessman Martin Buring graveside service set for Sunday
MARTIN STEPHEN BURING, a retired businessman, died on Wednesday, April 2. He was 74.
Buring lived life to the fullest and always on his own terms. He never concerned himself with consequences—what mattered most to him was the happiness and well-being of those he loved. His family was his world, and he found joy in seeing them smile.
He graduated from Ecole Classique High School and later attended Bryant & Stratton College in Buffalo, NY. In high school, he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Rho fraternity.
A driven and passionate individual, Buring was a successful business owner, pouring his energy into everything he pursued.
Those who knew him will remember him for his bold spirit, his unwavering love for his family, and his dedication to living authentically. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
He was a devoted father and is survived by his children Jonathan, Falyn, and Lance Buring; and his two cherished sisters Lynda Mahana (Steve) and Sandra Pulitzer (Arthur).
A graveside service was conducted on Sunday, April 6 by Rabbi David Cohen-Henriquez at Hebrew Rest Cemetery No. 3, 2101 Pelopidas Street at Frenchmen Street.
