Passover Poem: ‘The Night of the First Seder’

Twas the night of the first seder And all through the house All the chometz had been burned Or consumed by my spouse.

I wanted a cookie, some cake, Or popcorn, Potato chips, a brownie I was getting forlorn.

‘Cause I knew that I couldn’t Eat none of that stuff. But my stomach was saying, “Enough is enough.”
