OSWIECIM, Poland (JTA) — Watching thousands of Poles dance to Klezmer music just 50 miles from the Auschwitz death camp, Johnny Daniels could feel an ambitious plan taking shape.

Holocaust historian returns honor from Hungary over ‘whitewash’

(JTA) — Holocaust historian Randoph Braham is returning a high honor from the Hungarian state over what he called the government’s falsification of Holocaust history.
