Oppressive heat postpones Tel Aviv Marathon

JERUSALEM (JTA) — The Tel Aviv Marathon was postponed for one week because of expected oppressive heat in Israel. The Tel Aviv municipality announced Tuesday that the full 26-mile marathon scheduled for Friday would be postponed because of the expected extreme high heat and in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Health.
